We are specialised in the construction of demanding industrial-grade steel structures, machinery and equipment.
We can deliver fully customised, extensive projects for our customers. Our production facilities enable fast deliveries, high-quality production and efficient logistics.
Steel structures and industrial machines made to order
We manufacture – by customer contract – various types of steel structures as well as machine and equipment parts intended for industrial use.
We use efficient welding methods for different needs: MIG, MAG, TIG and stick, as well as laser. We can use laser to clean the more demanding pieces.

Founded in 1996, Faumek Oy is a custom engineering works for the metal industry and steel construction. Our production facility is in Tornio with convenient transport links.
We serve companies in the steel, mining, construction, and paper industries as well as construction companies in Finland and Scandinavia. We specialise in custom-manufacturing of steel structures, machines and equipment. We also take care of surface treatment, installation and maintenance tasks.
Our modern machinery guarantees competitive production, and our professional staff and standardised processes are responsible for the high quality of our services. Delivery reliability is the pillar of our operations.
Faumek Oy takes part in collective climate action and the green transition of steel construction.
Quality, safety and corporate responsibility form the core of our operations
Our operating system is ISO 9001:2018 certified. The certificate, issued and supervised by Kiwa Inspecta, covers the workshop manufacture and surface treatment of steel structures, the manufacture of machines and equipment, as well as installation and maintenance work.
We have the right to use the CE marking, confirming that our manufacturing and quality assurance processes for welded steel assemblies comply with the European Union Directive. The registration right covers structural welded steel assemblies and production systems according to the EN1090-1:2009+A1:2011 standard in EXC1, EXC2 and EXC3 implementation classes.
Our environmental certification process is ongoing.

We constantly develop our operating methods and production processes to be as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible. We invest in material and resource efficiency as well as high quality, which guarantees durability and thus a long lifecycle for the products.
By minimising transportation of materials and parts and by utilising solar energy produced on site, we reduce our carbon footprint. European-made solar panels on the roof of the workshop produce approximately 52,000 kWh of electricity per year.
We also invest in professional skills and well-being. We treat everyone equally and fairly, regardless of education level, gender, opinions, nationality or age. The personnel can influence their working conditions to enhance safety.
